Commissions

JAN takes on a limited number of bespoke commissions each year - original oil paintings built around your space, colour palette or the emotional theme you want the piece to carry.

How it works

Every commission starts with a conversation. Send an enquiry with a sense of the space the piece is for, any colours or themes you're drawn to, and your budget - JAN will reply personally to talk through scale, composition and price before any work begins. Once you're aligned on the brief, the same payment process applies as for available paintings: a bank transfer (EFT) arranged directly with JAN, with the piece shipped once payment reflects.

Because each commission is painted individually - not pulled from existing inventory - timelines vary with scale and current studio workload. JAN will give you a realistic estimate once the brief is confirmed.
